Strength Sports

With a clinic based in Viking Strength Gym, Ossett, Wakefield, I have had the chance to work closely with many strength based athletes. Whether creating bespoke warm up to prepare to move under heavy load, improve movement and mobility for efficient lifting or rehabbing niggling issues leading into competition, combining knowledge as a member of the Society of Sports Therapists and UKSCA Accredited Strength & Conditioning coach alongside your programming can help improve training consistency and performance.

Strength sports

As with any type of training injury can occur and as we push into peaking phases or return from a period of time away from training. We commonly treat back pain, shoulder pain and knee pain in strength sports but also need to find strategies to manage those pains that frequently pop up but make a difference when pushing on the numbers. With Screening, assessing training hours, intensity and history, movement, load tolerances, asymmetries and understanding of the potential contributors to injury, we can help improve the outcome of injury and look to improve the performance of these areas for long term success and training consistency.
